Let me introduce myself. This is my third year teaching fifth grade at Lowell. I began teaching in 2002 in Lago Vista, Texas (outside Austin). Loved it so much that I got a Masters of Education from Texas State University in 2005. Prior to that, I have lived all over the country and one foreign country, been a newspaper journalist and been married to a fantastic guy for more than 20 years. My husband, Vince and I have three children: a daughter and two sons - one that is actually a foreign student whom we hosted while he was in high school (he's now a freshman at Georgia Tech University and promises to come home for Christmas.) I love to read, dig in the dirt, learn about history, swim, sail and eat my husband's cooking! I can't wait to learn more about you.
